Take a few moments to review the information presented here to help you
select the right cupola. Cupolas and Weathervanes make distinguished additions
to homes or any other outdoor structure. Cupolas can be used for ventilation
or a decorative accent. Most of our Cupolas are purchased as decorative
accents.
A good rule of thumb in selecting the right size cupola is one and one
quarter inch of cupola roof for every foot of unbroken roofline. The key
is the unbroken roofline measurement.

For example: 1.25 of cupola roof x 24 unbroken roof line =
the minimum cupola roof of 30. Our experience tells us this formula
provides a balance between the cupola and the roof. If the cupola is too
small it will look like a birdhouse. In fact, we recommend going one size
larger, especially if there is significant height to the structure, or
adjoining building.
All of our cupolas are weathervane ready. They do not require
a roof mount or any additional hardware. All cupolas are made to fit up
to a 10/12 pitch. If steeper, an extended base can be built.
Our cupolas are 100% handcrafted in the old world tradition of Amish craftsmen,
using only the highest quality materials. We consider our cupolas to be
the finest you can buy.
